having some fun

despite how it sometimes feels, we haven't been doing only hard work since we got here.  i signed the boys up for swimming lessons, so we had a daily break to get out for a bit.  i put both boys in the same class level for the first session, but they ended up in different classes.

isaac's teacher turned out to be the daughter of the relief society president who lives a few doors down.  she has since babysat for us several times.  we love sloane.

life jacket day is always a favorite.  it cracks me up to see them waddling around.

i love the day they learn how to do a rescue.  they took turns throwing the life saving device out to the person drowning.

i actually laughed out loud when isaac threw as hard as he could and it barely even landed in the water.

bonnie and i cheered them on every day from the side of the pool.

she especially liked to try on the boys' shoes while they were away and carried them back and forth in front of me.  luckily she never really tried to get in the water.

i love that these boys are teaching her the ways of watching muffins cook.  i just missed when she had her face smashed up against the glass.

we experienced quite a novelty yesterday.  we had a great rain shower with no lightning and thunder.  that almost never happened during our three years in texas, so we went out and took advantage.

we had really awesome realtors through our whole house hunting/buying process.  they were actually the parents of some of our friends from nau, kelly and kacie.  they were nice enough to invite us over for dinner while their girls were up visiting so that we could get a chance to see them.  it was so fun to have some time to catch up on the last ten years!

they have a couple kid sized atv's that cody absolutely loved.  he could have ridden around all afternoon.

they live on ten acres, so there was lots of room for our boys to run around with kelly and kacie's kids.  we all had such a great time!
