friday morning, we pretty much just cleaned and loaded up. beth and annie had one last game for the kids. they had to try and unwrap a ball of candy in saran wrap with winter gloves on. it was quite entertaining.
chris did the initial screening of his movie for the kids. we all loved it. i think it could be a lot of fun to re-create in a few years.
david and julie had planned on coming to our house for a night before heading down to thatcher and back to texas, but with the forest fire closing the road between show low and thatcher, it wasn't quite worth it. instead we went to a park in flagstaff to play for a little while.
once we were hungry enough, we went to oregano's for lunch. ryan and i used to go there when we were in college so it was fun to go back and to see the apartments we lived in when we were dating. lots of great memories there.
it was so fun to have lunch with david's family. we are going to miss living close, but we're so glad we had three years living only an hour away. we have loved getting to know their family so much better and will miss them lots and lots!
