my birthday!

another birthday has come and gone.  nothing too thrilling this year.  it is definitely fun to have two helpers unwrapping presents though.

i learned a new verse to row, row your boat at the conference i went to a few days ago.  isaac is usually really good at doing it with me, but we couldn't quite catch him.

we had delicious crepes for breakfast and then went to the park to play disc golf with some of ryan's work friends.  the course was sure long for cody and isaac's little legs.  isaac and i had to go pick up our bountiful basket in the middle, so we at least got a little break!

that night was resident graduation.  it was fun to see some of the third year residents one last time before them move on to 'real' jobs.  the food was pretty delicious (chicken and prime rib), even if it was exactly the same as last year.  

its at the yacht club on lake conroe, so we get to dress up and feel very fancy.

i actually fixed the dress up myself.  someone gave it to me a couple of years ago and it had a halter top that never fit quite right.  i switched out the top with a pattern from my awesome friend jodi and voila!  new dress!
