post reunion with the will's

beth and chris came back up on monday to spend a couple more days with us before making the long long drive back to wyoming.  we had lots of fun with them here again!

we made sure to have a tea party.  it was so fun to have so many people to play dress-ups with cody.

we didn't get a chance to play our family's activity at the reunion, so we had the shake-a-thon on monday afternoon.  it was pretty hilarious to watch the kids try and shake ping pong balls out of the tissue boxes!

beth and chris wanted to have some real texas bbq while they were here, so we opted to go out monday night.  i called marianne at the last minute and luckily they were able to meet us at rudy's.  yep, its a gas station.

greg and shirley were both there, so we got to see them too!

it was so fun to get some cousins together!

the kids had fun for the little while we were there eating and ended the night with a huge, toppling hug.  luckily, no one was seriously injured!

chris went down to the temple on tuesday morning, so beth and i just had a lazy morning at the house.  we were both quite pampered with hair-dos and mani/pedis.

i did all the girls' hair for the day.

the dolls and doll clothes were discovered in the closet and got some much needed playing with!

even monkey got dressed up for the occasion.

they spent a lot of time playing outside on the swingset and cody walked behind ashlee swinging.  as luck would have it, he timed it just right to get kicked in the mouth, nearly knocking out the tooth he damaged last year in california.  its still hanging on for now, but the dentist said its only a matter of time before it just falls out.  he may be toothless for several years, but grandma told him he'd at least be the envy of all the other kindergarteners when he got there!

cody also has this weird rash on his hand.  julie thought it looked like poison ivy, but the longer we look at it we think it might just be a very strange sunburn on the back of his hand.  it definitely blistered like a sunburn, but didn't seem to hurt like one normally would.

it was sure fun to snuggle up with such a big bunch for story time before bed each night!

beth and chris loaded up early this morning to start their long drive home.  we've had visitors for about two weeks, so we're ready for a little break and some super cleaning!  who is going to visit next?
